Nanded family loses 15 members in Telangana road mishap; deceased include seven children and five women
Hyderabad: Fifteen persons of a family from Nanded district, Maharashtra, including five women and seven children, were killed in a road mishap involving a tipper and an auto in Adilabad district of Telangana, police said yesterday. The deceased were on their way to a temple and had hired the auto.

The incident occurred on the outskirts of Bhainsa town of the district around midnight, after a speeding gravel-laden tipper collided with the auto carrying 18 persons, Adilabad District Superintendent of Police Tarun Joshi said.
While 14 persons died on the spot and another died on the way to a hospital after the tipper fell on the auto and its occupants were crushed under it, the police officer said, adding, three others who were injured in the incident were rushed to a hospital in the neighbouring Nizamabad district.
“The deceased include five women, four boys and three girls. The family hails from Bhokar in Nanded and was working at the brick kilns in Nizamabad,” Bhainsa Rural police station Circle Inspector Vinod Reddy said.
