A 27-year old software engineer, Manish Singh Satyendrasingh Chauhan, working at Wipro, Hinjewadi ended his life last night. He is survived by his wife and a child. Chauhan committed suicide by hanging himself to the ceilingu00a0 of his room at Karve road's Shahu Colony. His room partner Joy Gonsalves spotted Chauhan hanging himself when he returned from his job at 1.30 am and called the Warje police. Originally hailing from Lucknow (UP), Chauhan was working at Wipro for the past three years.
Police found a suicide note in which he stated that nobody should be held responsible for his extreme step.
Gonsalves said that Chauhan wasu00a0 disturbed because of some family problems and that he did not discuss the issue with him openly. "It was a shock for me when I saw him in this state," he said. Post mortem of Chauhan's body was done at the Sassoon morgue. Warje police registered a case of
suicide.
