City students have a gala time at the Inter Collegiate Evangelical Union that meets every 7th day of the week

After an exhausting week of attending lectures, working on projects and completing assignments, Sunday is surely a fun day for the members of Inter Collegiate Evangelical Union. Formed in 2005, the group comprises around 100 like-minded youths from various city colleges, who meet every week for a couple hours.

Jeevan Thomas (19), president of the group, says, "We started this group with an intention of teaching students the art of enjoying life. Also, we aim to inculcate discipline amongst youngsters." When the members meet, they play games and have discussion on varied subjects, including religion and theu00a0 Bible.

Sandhya Jain (19), a student of mass communication, said, "I love this group as everyone here bonds well with the other. Besides, I like the discussion on religious topics as it cleanses our soul."
