The air was abuzz with excitement in all junior colleges yesterday when HSC students went to collect their mark sheets from their respective institutions and were welcomed with sweets and wished the best fro their future

The Pune division of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) published the results of all 1,062 junior colleges across the Pune division. In Pune district, a total of 42 junior colleges maintained 100 per cent results. The colleges that had pass percentage between 90 and 99 per cent were 142. On the other hand, not even one student cleared the exam in seven colleges in the district.

The city colleges have organised special programmes to felicitate the toppers.

In Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce (BMCC), a total of 14 students have scored above 90 per cent in the exam. Mrunal Bhonsle of BMCC has topped in Pune division by securing 97 marks in French. Her overall percentage is 90.67 and she has stool second in the college.

“French is a beautiful language. I would like to study the language further. Currently, I am preparing for the entrance exam of Chartered Accountant (CA) course, which is scheduled on June 16,” said Bhonsle.

Reshul Dani of SP College grabbed five various awards of state board for scoring 100 marks in Mathematics.

“I was expecting 100 in Maths. My MT-CET score is 186 and JEE-Mains score is 220. Now I am waiting for JEE-Advance result that will be declared on June 23. For engineering, IIT is my first preference,” said Dani.u00a0
