Vijayawada: Head of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham Sri Sri Jayendra Saraswati Swami was on Tuesday admitted to a private hospital after he complained of breathing problem. His condition is stated to be stable now.

The seer has been camping in Vijayawada for the past few days overseeing the 'Chaturmasya Deeksha', a four-month religious ritual.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu spoke to the Peetham people over phone and enquired about the seer's health. He directed the Krishna district Collector to ensure better medicare to the veteran seer.
