Trigger-happy photographers from across the country can enter the Akanksha Foundation-Kodak Joy of Learning photo contest to help send the underprivileged to school

"A photo is a window into another human experience. For Akanksha, it is an opportunity to capture the joy of going to school and the power of education to transform the lives of children with limitless potential," says Vandana Goyal, CEO, Akanksha Foundation, about the NGO's tie-up with photography brand Kodak.

Celebrating its 20th year of educating the underprivileged, Akanksha Foundation hopes the pictures will capture the joy of slum kids attending school.

Winning photographs, selected by a jury of eminent photographers and leading industry magazine Better Photography, will be featured in the Akanksha-Kodak 2011 calendar. The top three entries stand to win Kodak digital frames (Rs 11,000 each).

The contest opens on November 15 and will continue till December 25, 2010. Every entry must be accompanied with a caption of up to 100 words.
