The Guide tells you about some interesting buys at the home store onu00a0MG Road

Vase and candle stand made of brass and glass

Range:
On a visit, you will come across ceramic items, vases, night lamps, cutlery, candle stands, gift items, garden accessories, furniture and bath linen. While you will occasionally come across something that makes you go "Wow!" most of the items are pretty common. We advise you to come with lots of time on your hands.

Ambience: The store is divided into two floors: the first floor stocks home du00c3u00a9cor, kitchenware and bedroom sets while the first floor includes gardenware, living room and bath linen items. Products are neatly displayed in wooden cabinets and several dining tables are beautifully set with cutlery and kitchenware items.

On display: In the kitchenware section, check out the hand-painted aluminum snack server (Rs 799). They also offer a wide variety of cups and saucers made from ceramic, aluminum and brass. Some of the ceramic sets were painted in bright colours and are priced from Rs 599 onwards. We also loved the simple white ceramic jars.

The Bedroom and Living Room section offered interesting lamps. The three-light lamp made of wooden creepers, available in oval and round shapes, is eye-catching (Rs 5,000). The magazine and paper racks were also innovative as were the cane laundry furniture.

If you are searching for interesting gifting options, check out the vases, candle stands, and photo frames. We spotted a white and brown wooden lantern that had a rustic appeal. The teaspoon stands (Rs 599) made of glass and brass which are gold-plated also caught our fancy. Revamp your garden with their set of terracotta planters (Rs 149 to 449), which are silver and golden-plated.

At: 17, MG Road, Camp, Cantonment Board, Tal Haveli.
