The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), on Monday, carried out searches at the houses of all the three accused in the Sheena Bora Murder case. The CBI raided nine places three in Mumbai, two in Goa, one in Chindwara, two in Kolkata and one in Guwahati.

"We have raided the houses of Indrani and Peter in Kolkata, Guwahati, Goa, Mumbai and also the native of driver Shyamvar Rai, who is an accused in the case," said a CBI official over the phone.

Indrani Mukerjea, her former husband Sanjeev Khanna and her driver Rai were arrested for the murder of Indrani’s daughter Sheena on August 25.
Sheena was killed on April 24, 2012. The CBI spokesperson said they are looking out for more evidence in the case.
Meanwhile, a court extended the judicial custody of the three accused in the case till October 31. The case was earlier transferred from Mumbai police to the CBI, who have 30 days to file the chargesheet.
