IT minister acts in film Lift Kodla, but now wants his scenes chopped; fears controversy as his official car has been used

Naidu was seen getting off his official car in the movie. He now is said to have developed the jitters, thinking the use of the vehicle could get him embroiled in a controversy.

"The director has agreed to cut my role," said Naidu.

According to sources, the minister's official car has been used in the film and Vidhana Souda has also been shot, which has been prohibited for the shooting of films.u00a0

However, Naidu denied this, saying, "We have not used the official car for the shooting."

Film director Ashok Kasyap and lead actor Jaggesh, were not available for comment despite repeated attempts to contact them.

The film

A remake of Telugu hit 'Maa Shreyobhilashi', the film is about a group of people who are dissatisfied with society and want to end their lives. Jaggesh leads the group. The film also stars Jaggesh's younger brother Komal. While Komal plays a film producer trying to end his life by committing suicide, Subramanya Naidu was supposed to feature as the home minister.
