The Maharashtra State Board for Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) announced the SSC March 2015 results at 1pm today. According to statistics made available by the department, the overall pass percentage of the state stands at 87.72 (up seven percent compared to 2014) while that of Mumbai stands at 88.75 (up six percent compared to 2014).

Giving more reason for students to rejoice, the number of students scoring above 90% in the exams has gone up in the state as well as the city. While over 48,000 students scored above 90% in Maharashtra, 12,100 students in Mumbai division managed the same feat.
Once again, this year the results have been announced as per the best-five policy where only scores of top five subjects will be considered for the final total. Students will receive their marksheets on June 15 at their respective schools.
The results include fresheres as well as repeater candidates.
