Rashid Malbari's police custody extended

The Judicial Magistrate of Mangalore court has extended the police custody of Chota Shakeel aide Rashid Malbari to Thursday.

The Pannambur police took his custody for interrogating him about his other activities during his stay in India. The police wanted to gather more information about his network which could corroborate with the evidence.

Rashid Malbari was arrested by Mangalore police based on a tip off from Intelligence bureau, which had intercepted a telephone conversation in which Rashid was discussing his plans with Chota Shakeel to eliminate Varun Gandhi and Mutalik.
