Attavar and nine other activists of the Sene were arrested in a late night operation, police said. Protesting the arrest of Attavar, suspected activists of the outfit today on Tuesday some buses and set afire a lorry at Alpe on the city outskirts.
However, no one was hurt in the incidents, police said.
The activists pelted stones at two Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) buses, damaged window panes and set afire a lorry at Alape on city outskirts, police said.
When the crowd torched the lorry, people who were nearby immediately doused the fire, police said adding they have launched a manhunt to arrest those who indulged in the violence.
Police had issued notices to media, including television channels, under Karnataka State Police Form No 28, to provide information regarding the assault in the pub.

The incident has sparked national outrage with the attack being termed as an act of hooliganism.
