Indore: An aircraft of Madhya Pradesh Flying Club on training sortie crashed at Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport here today in which two persons were seriously injured, police said.


"The aircraft on training sortie crashed near the boundary wall of the airport," Superintendent of Police (SP), East area, Abid Khan told PTI.


The two occupants of the plane suffered serious injuries in the mishap. They were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. The condition of one of them is stated to be critical, he said.


A probe has been launched into the crash, Khan said.
