The directors of the company based in Aundh Manish Suresh Keswani (34) and Anand Suresh Keswani (29) are brothers and reside in Baner Park Society. They were arrested by Chaturshungi police and produced in the court yesterday. They have been remanded in two-days police custody.
Piracy
"Officers from the Perfect Anti-Piracy firm had contacted us asking to raid the office of the Keswanis," said Police Sub-Inspector Manisha Dhamane. "Accordingly, the office was raided and we found that the Keswanis were using a pirated designing software, the copyright of which is owned by a renowned IT firm."
Porn clips found
Besides the pirated version of the software, many porn clips were found on the hard disk of the computer used by Keswanis. The hard disk has been seized and sent for cyber forensic investigation, said Dhamane.
"The Keswani brothers are highly educated. We are investigating the source of the pornographic material and whether they had downloaded the clips from some website," said Dhamane. "Also, we are looking for the people who helped the Keswanis get the pirated software."
