Petrol prices have gone down again. The effective price has reduced to Rs 70.91 per litre from Rs 71.76 for regular petrol and Rs 73.63 from Rs 74.51 for power petrol.

"The international oil price has come down to $106 per barrel from $115," said Ali Daruwalla, spokesperson for the Pune petrol Dealers Association.
Oil companies had already indicated a reduction in prices if international prices fell along with the rupee appreciating against the dollar.
