Chandigarh: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday met French President Francois Hollande at Chandigarh’s famous Rock Garden. The garden has been created by city resident Nek Chand entirely from waste material.

Following their meet, the leaders attended a forum of select CEOs that was followed by the India-France Business Summit to be attended by the corporate honchos of the two nations.
Hollande will be accorded a ceremonial reception at the forecourts of Rashtrapati Bhawan today, followed by bilateral talks with Prime Minister Modi at the Hyderabad House where both the leaders will ink agreements in various key sectors.
On January 26, the French President will witness the R-Day parade at Rajpath as the chief guest. This is the fifth time that a serving President of France will be the Chief Guest for the parade.
