The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) asked Delhi University students to refrain from organising functions on Valentine's Day.

"Delhi University has become a dating place for students as well as outsiders. We will not allow any programme in the campus. We have formed groups to keep an eye on students. We will also visit different colleges.

Generally, outsiders enter the campus and create nuisance," said Ashutosh Srivastava, ABVP state secretary.
