Here's what he said


The Selection Committee of the Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics had on Tuesday announced a Special Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics, recognising scientists and engineers' contribution to the exceptional detection of gravitational waves.

The Fundamental Physics Prize is awarded by the Fundamental Physics Prize Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to awarding physicists involved in fundamental research. It was founded in July 2012 by Russian physicist and internet entrepreneur Yuri Milner.
