Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Monday accused the media of creating a hostile environment, wherein anyone who mulls to initiate dialogue with Pakistan is dubbed as 'anti-national'.

Mehbooba while addressing the state assembly said, 'Unfortunately, some media houses have created an atmosphere that if we talk of dialogue (with Pakistan) then we are labelled anti-national.'

While asserting that, peace can only be restored through the medium of dialogue, Mehbooba further urged the media to help in bringing back peace in the valley.

'We fought and won all wars against Pakistan but even now today there is no solution other than dialogue, till when will our jawans and civilians keep dying,' she said.

Today was the last day of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly.

Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) on Monday claimed the responsibility of the recent terror attacks at Sunjwan Army Camp and Karan Nagar CRPF camp.

In recent developments, one CRPF personnel lost his life in the ongoing encounter at the 23 Bn CRPF camp in Srinagar's Karan Nagar, where two armed-terrorists were spotted in the wee hours of Monday.

Earlier on Saturday, terrorists barged into the Sunjwan army camp in Jammu, killing five security personnel and one civilian.
