Jawan runs away with Army rifles, joins LeT

The Army and the Jammu police are on the look out for a jawan of the Territorial Army who has reprtedly run away to join the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT)

The Army and the Jammu police are on the look out for a jawan of the Territorial Army who has reprtedly run away to join the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT).

Zaffarullah has reportedly run away with three rifles, including two AK rifles, and a lot of ammunition.

In what could cause a major embarrassment to the Army, the police have said that Zaffarulllah has joined the terrorist outfit.

Recruited three years ago, Zaffarulllah was attached with the 8 Rashtriya Rifles unit based in the Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.

His brother is allegedly a militant.
