The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education has announced the JKBOSE 12th result 2016 today. The JKBOSE Result was unveiled at a brief declaration ceremony at board headquarters held late evening. Students from Jammu region, who have appeared for the class 12 board exams this year, can now check their JKBOSE Higher Secondary Result online on the official website jkbose.co.in. While declaring the JKBOSE 12th Class Result, the board officials stated that girls have outshined boys this year as well all the three streams of arts, commerce and science. The overall pass percentage for the recently announced JKOBSE Result stands at 49%. The top spot in all the streams of JKBOSE 12th Results 2016 was bagged by girls as well.
For science stream, Muskaan Maan from St.Xavier’s Convent Higher Secondary School Jammu and Vijay Laxmi from Bhramrishi Banvara Shanti Vidhyapeeth, Udharmpur shared the top rank with 97.8%. For arts stream, Chetna from Shiksha Niketan Higher Secondary School, Jammu bagged the top position with 95.4%. In commerce stream as well Palak Gupta again from Shiksha Niketan Higher Secondary School, Jammu secured the top rank with 96.8%. In Home Science stream, the top position was bagged by Ikra Bano from Mubarak Mandi Higher Secondary School, Jammu with 72.6%.
