Iranian held for duping fellow national

Officials of the Airport police station arrested an Iranian national for allegedly duping his fellow countryman of Rs 3 lakh by promising him a forged marksheet and a degree certificate in Science from Kanpur university.

Officials said they have also booked another person, whom they suspect to be the mastermind behind the racket of selling fake education certificates and mark sheets to Iranian nationals. The arrested person was identified as Ardalan Abidi, a resident of Kondhwa.

Abidi was arrested after 24-year-old Fodali Rizai, a resident of Kondhwa, lodged a complaint against him. u00a0
