The accused, a government school teacher identified as Sabar, was apprehended by a joint team of police from Delhi and Jammu and Kashmir. Sabar was arrested from Rajouri district on Friday, Joint Commissioner of Delhi Police (Crime Branch) Ravindra Yadav said.

Earlier, Delhi Police arrested Border Security Force (BSF) head constable Abdul Rasheed and 44-year-old library assistant Kafaitullah Khan alias Master Raja for obtaining secret information related to India's national security and sharing it with ISI.

Kafaitullah Khan, also a resident of Rajouri district, was allegedly working for ISI for monetary benefits. He was arrested on November 26 from New Delhi railway station, while Abdul Rasheed was held in Rajouri.

According to police sources in Jammu, Kafaitullah Khan’s interrogation led to the arrest of Abdul Rasheed. On Friday, a team of Delhi Police Crime Branch arrested Munawwar Ahmad Mir, a retired Indian Army havildar, for being part of the alleged espionage racket from Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Delhi Police, Sabar had helped Khan to establish contact with Mir. Police sources in Jammu said that with the school teacher’s arrest, a total of eight people have been arrested across India in the case. Out of the eight arrested, four belong to Rajouri district. More arrests are likely to take place.
