New anti-theft system prevents Bolero from being driven away by carjackers

Gurgaon resident Abhishek Ruchir can't thank a new car security system enough.

Interestingly, last year Ruchir had lost another Bolero to thieves. But he bought the same vehicle model and colour this year. "Last year thieves took away my car from the parking lot outside my house. But I loved the car too much so I bought another one with same specifications. But this time I equipped it with the latest anti-theft Micro Vehicle Black Box," said Ruchir.

On the day of the attempted robbery, Ruchir was shocked to see his new car missing from the parking lot. "I immediately rushed out and saw the car standing in the middle of the road, few metres away from my home with its gates open. The gear lock was tampered with. The thieves could not start the car. The new anti-theft system I have installed saved it. Under the system, a special code locks my vehicle when I send an SMS. No one can start the car even with keys if I don't send an SMS again with the secret code. That night I received an SMS saying that someone tried entering the car forcibly but I did not read it," said Ruchir.

SMS-based anti-theft car security system: It's a device that detects any forcible intrusions in the vehicle and communicates the same to the owner. It has an intelligent box with fire sensors, an emergency alert switch, telematics and intrusion detection of vehicle doors. It also lets the owner control his vehicle from anywhere by sending a simple SMS from his mobile phone.
