The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education's decision to rec-conduct the 'Textiles' exam on April 1 has given those HSC students who missed out on their paper after a goof-up in the online timetable a reason to smile
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has rescheduled the HSC exam for 'Textiles' to April 1 after over 400 students of Arts and Science stream across the state missed their paper on March 7 due to confusion in the online timetable.

Students at several centres had turned up late due to different schedules in the timetable available online on the board’s website and the hardcopy which was sent to colleges and schools. While the online timetable said the paper would be held from 3 to 6 pm, the hardcopy scheduled it for 11 am to 2 pm.
“In the larger interest of students who missed the examination, it has been decided that the exam would held one more time for those who had missed it. The students who have appeared for the exam on March 7 cannot reappear on April 1,” said a statement issued by the board.
