Traumatised by everyday dispute within the family, Sharda was allegedly forced to take this step, which not only took her life but also of Prachi, her seven-year-old daughter.

The incident reportedly took place around 11 am. Sharda hanged herself along with her son and daughter from the ceiling. The screams of the children alarmed the neighbours and they came running for rescue but found the door locked.

They immediately informed the police and a team was rushed to the spot. Though the police had a tough time unlocking the door, it managed to save the four-year-old son, Piyush, in time.

The boy is reportedly critical at a city hospital.
Narendra Singh, 36, works as a technician in a Noida-based electronics company. Marita discord is allegedly the reason behind Sharda's suicide. She was reportedly suffering from depression due to unhealthy atmosphere in the house.

"The disputes within the family seem to be the reason behind the suicide. The investigation is still on and we are yet to ascertain anything," said Salendra Lal, circle officer, Greater Noida.
The case has been registered in Kasna Police station and the husband has been detained for interrogation.
