Paresh Gandhi lived with his wife Seema and two children and ran a gold showroom in Raghuleela Mall.

On Sunday evening, while his family was out, he called his friend Bhupendra, saying, “Thank you for being my friend. I will not be able to see you or speak to you again.”

Panicked, Bhupendra called Gandhi’s wife. She in turn called her neighbours, who opened the door and found Paresh hanging. ACP Jayawant Hargude said, “Paresh was depressed due to financial problems. No suicide note has been found.”u00a0
