On third day, 13,358 forms sold for various streams in city

Onu00a0the third day of FYJC admission form sales in colleges across the city yesterday, 13,358 forms were sold for various faculties. Officials at the centralised admission committee's office in Fergusson College said that as was the trend in previous years, there was a rush for the science faculty this year as well. In contrast with the scenario on Tuesday, the collection of forms speeded up substantially yesterday as 6,232 forms were collected compared to 547 on Tuesday.

"Of the total forms accepted, 2,757 students have applied for admission to science faculty, which is in top demand. About 1,595 students have applied for commerce (English) while 1,271 students have applied for commerce (Marathi). For bifocal courses, 245 students have applied," said an official.

Besides, 80 students applied for arts (English) while 193 applied for arts (Marathi) on the third day.
Ninety-one students applied for ATKT faculty admissions. A total of 56,664 forms have been sold across city colleges. The problem of ICSE students not getting forms on time was also resolved, and yesterday, a total of 162 forms were submitted by ICSE students for admission, while 79 were accepted.
