New Delhi: External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, who is admitted at AIIMS, is undergoing treatment for kidney-related ailment and is likely to remain in the hospital for a few days.

"Her condition is stable. Her history of chronic diabetes has affected her kidney functioning. She is on dialysis," sources at AIIMS said. She was admitted to AIIMS on November 7 and is being monitored by a team of doctors.
Swaraj is admitted at the cardio-neuro centre under the supervision of Balram Airan, Chief of the Cardio Thoracic Centre.
She has been suffering from diabetes for almost 20 years. The 64-year-old BJP leader was admitted to AIIMS in April also when she underwent treatment for pneumonia and other health issues.
