The actresses were lucky to be let off, as women constables were not available to arrest them.
A team lead by Assistant Police Inspector Sadique Deshmukh checked the premises and found three men entering a flat from where the loud music was emitting. API Deshmukh said the eight were taken into custody under the Bombay Police Act section 112 and 117. Highly placed sources said that when the police interrupted the party none of the men or women was in a condition to even stand owing to crapulence.u00a0

After they were remanded in judicial custody, the accused applied for bail through lawyer R G Sonawane, and the court granted them bail on furnishing personal bond of Rs 3,000 each.
