When Sivamani decides to play Santa Claus, you can expect the unexpected. This extraordinary drummer will perform live for underprivileged kids, to ring in this joyous season. "We have to share what we have or else we get overweight. Be light, be bright," is his mantra and he abides by it. Involved in several charity events like this, he sidetracks it by saying, "my right hand shouldn't know what my left hand is doing." He's lined up a special act for the kids. Santa Cause is part of the ongoing Equal Opportunity Program project organised by The Family India. Guests can bring goodies for these kids; if it's for a boy it should be wrapped in blue; red for the girls. The aim is to collect 1,000 gifts for these kids. Hard Rock Cafe will be the collection point to drop off gifts leading up to Christmas.

Veteran lensman Samar Jodha believes that while the Bhopal Gas Tragedy may have become just another date, it doesn't mean that it's forgotten. To highlight this, Jodha decided to go ahead and make a statement, without commercialising it. "It was necessary to create a platform for my art and that's why we decided to go ahead with a panel discussion to create awareness among the media and lay people," he explains. His multimedia installation shows lenticular images about the tragedy. Jodha has deliberately avoided using people and concentrated on spaces, instead.
