Dhanbad (Jharkhand): Six dacoits looted passengers and injured two of them on board the Ranchi-Jainagar Express near Chandrapura station of East Central Rail Zone, railway police said on Tuesday.

Armed with pistol and sharp weapons, the dacoits stormed the S-2 coach after disconnecting the coupling after the train moved out from Chandrapura Railway Station under Dhanbad rail division last night, a complaint lodged with the GRP said.
They escaped after looting five passengers.
The injured persons identified as Keshav Chaudhary of Manigachhi block of Darbanga district and Usha Devi of Jhanjharpur block of Madhubani districts of Bihar have received knife injury on their palm and ear respectively.
They lodged their complaint at Dhanbad GRP after the train reached here.
A GRP official said investigations are on.
