After complaints from residents near Bandra-Worli Sea Link, cops booked drivers of a Ferrari and a Lamborghini for racing while the owners were enjoying the ride in their supercars
The Worli police booked drivers of two Italian supercars a Ferrari and a Lamborghini u00a0for rash and negligent driving and speeding. The police said that they were racing from Bandra to Worli on the sea link late on Tuesday night.

Around 11 pm, Nitin Musale (28), at the wheel of a red Ferrari (JH-08-E-09), and Anup Mhaskar (24), zipping in a yellow Lamborghini (MH-01-AH-5511), were caught and charged with rash driving. The Lamborghini owner Siddharth Mandelia and the Ferrari proprietor Jovan Kosale were relishing the race from inside their luxury automobiles.
According to the police, many residents living around the sea link had earlier complained to them that the din of engines whizzing noisily was keeping them up at night. “Acting on the complaints, a patrolling team reached the area and saw two sports cars racing each other to Bandra.
When the cars returned, Sub-Inspector Anant Raorane stopped them on AG Khan Road at the Worli sea-face,” said Vinayak Deshmukh, deputy commissioner of police, zone III. Both the drivers were booked and let off on bail the same night. u00a0
