Children pedal over 2,000 km against female foeticide

To spread awareness about female foeticide, a group of 30 children reached Delhi after travelling a distance of 2,300 km across India, including 18 cities, on bicycles.

Children pedal over 2,000 km against female foeticide

The group, which comprises 15 girls and 15 boys, started its journey from Sangli in Uttar Pradesh and will end at Sonipat in Haryana.


These 30 children have covered cities like Karad, Satara, Pune, Ahmadnagar, Malegaon, Chahsgaon, Dulia, Shurpur, Sendava, Dewas, Guna, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Dholpur, Agra, and Mathura, before reaching Delhi.


These children were welcomed by Shiv Inder Singh, managing director, Firefox Bikes Pvt. Ltd.


"Firefox is honoured to be associated with this cause. It is very important that each one of us play a positive role in saving the girl child. Firefox would continue to support causes for the betterment of the society," he said.
