Three assailants arrested within 12 hours of the daylight murder

CCTV footage at the Platinum restobar helped the crime branch nab Rohan Dharmadhikari alias Ladya (25) and Deepak Bhatambrekar (23) from Dandekar Bridge area within 12 hours after gangster Kishore Marne was shot dead on Monday.
While scanning the CCTV footage, police officials noticed Bhatambrekar going inside the restaurant along with three others with a chopper in hand. The Dattawadi police arrested Sharad Mohol (25) and Amit Phatak (21) from Dhayari.
DCP Anil Kumbhare said, "The arrested have confessed to their involvement in the assault. Dharmadhikari has a criminal record and was involved in two murder cases."
Kumbhare said, "There could be more than 8-10 people involved in the attack. The arrested accused have also revealed the names of the others."
ACP Sangramsinh Nishandar led the police operation along with PI Ram Pathare, PI Kishor Jadhav and PI Ram Jadhav went on Monday night.
Dattawadi police station has registered a complaint of murder against Gole, Mohol, Munna Sheikh and their five accomplices.
