Gorakhpur turned into a battleground on Saturday with UP CM Yogi Adityanath and Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi trading accusations and charges all day. While Yogi said people from Delhi are trying to make the city a picnic spot, Rahul stated that lack of oxygen killed the kids.
Rahul on Saturday met a few of the families who lost their children in the Gorakhpur hospital tragedy to express sympathies and said it was a "government-made tragedy" ."Modiji (Prime Minister Narendra Modi) talks about "new India". We do not want such new India. We need India where the poor can return to their home happily, after treatment of their children," he said.
