Mathura: Actor-turned-MP Hema Malini stressed on the need to build a 'theme park' with international standard facilities in Mathura in an effort to attract more tourists to the city.

During her meeting with UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav in Lucknow on Saturday, she urged that the theme park must be build keeping in mind the influx of domestic as well as international tourists in the city.
"Considering the influx of domestic as well as international tourists, she has asked for a 'theme park' with international standard facilities, entertainment, etc in Mathura since most of the temples are closed for about four
hours daily," Party's PRO Ram Kishan Pathak said.
She has also stressed on the need for an international level auditorium here for promoting cultural activities of Brajbhumi.
"Muktakashi Rang Manch here may be renovated into international auditorium," she demanded. She also out forth problems faced in Rawal village, which has been adopted by her, and demanded attention towards renovation of roads leading to the village, and raised other problems in Mathura city, Pathak added.
