New Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday has slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for letting his 97-year-old mother Hiraba stand in queue to exchange currency notes.
Kejriwal tweeted in hindi saying, It is not right on Modiji's part to make his mother stand in a queue just for politics. If need be, I would stand in the queue but wouldn't let my mother stand."

His tweet created ripples on Twitter with people trolling the Chief Minister. Here's what they had to say.
@ArvindKejriwal Shame on u!! Heeraben Modi always has lived her life in simplicity, she stood in queue by her choice, not by compulsion.

Narendra Modi's mother Hiraba Modi on Tuesday exchanged demonetised currency for Rs 4,500 at a bank near the state capital Gandhinagar.
Wearing a white cotton sari over a dark blue blouse, 96-year-old Hiraba queued up at the Raisan branch of Oriental Bank of Commerce and got notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 exchanged for Rs 4,500, the daily exchange limit.
A few people queuing up at the bank made way for her and she went straight to the teller counter.
She was given a new Rs 2,000 note, five bills of Rs 100 and two bundles of Rs 10 each containing 100 notes each. Hiraba waved the Rs 2,000 note to journalists waiting outside the bank.
