The chairman of the Mahindra group has posted a video of a food stall in Bengaluru that sells dosas and idlis served with sweet treats. Stall owner Manjunath doesn't just stop at chocolate dosa but a step ahead and serves dosas with ice-cream! He serves the dosa with options of different flavours of ice-cream being placed upon it or alongside the dish. The dosa is further doused in chocolate sauce before being served to the customers.
Mahindra shared the video giving full marks to Manujnath’s innovation and called the Indian street vendors an 'inexhaustible source of innovation' in his caption. "All the product design teams in our Group should regularly visit vendors & draw inspiration from them!" he further said.
Not a fan of ice cream dosas, but full marks to this gentleman’s inventiveness. In fact Indian street vendors are an inexhaustible source of innovation. Ice cream dosa and any other types of designer dosa is a disgrace to the traditional dosas
Innovation factor not withstanding, the South Indian fraternity gave the blasphemous dish er an ice cold welcome..
