After city-based astrologer revealed similarities between Amar Singh's and Hitler's horoscope, Rajya Sabha member has decided to tonsure head to remove any disposition he may share with the draconian dictator
Amar Singh plans to shave his head at Tirupati with a pledge not to become the Adolf Hitler of India, after his city-based astrologer figured out similarities with his horoscope and that of the German dictator.
Amar Singh hinted at a possible alliance with the Congress in UP for the assembly polls next year
The Rajya Sabha member came to the city yesterday to meet astrologer Bhushan Rao, who disclosed the striking features of his stars with Hitler's, while predicting that Singh would reaching dizzy heights in national politics in the coming days.
Amar Singh is apparently enthused with the comparison, but does not want to be like Hitler. "I am not flattered with the comparison.
In fact, I wanted to be a Martin Luther King rather than a Hitler. But what can I do if my horoscope is similar to that of his? I am a devotee of Lord Venkateswara and will offer prayers to take away any element of disposition from my persona," he said.

He informed that he would visit Tirupathi in July to offer 'keshamundan' (shaving the head) "I know not much is left on my head, but will offer whatever it is there," he joked.
"Tell me who wants to be Draconian monster. However, I will be happy to get that energy, grit and determination," he said. He even pointed at Mamata Banerjee as his latest inspiration for those qualities.

MiD DAY had carried a report on his horoscope earlier this month, when the SC lifted the gag order on publishing the contents of his purported taped conversation with the VIPs and celebrities, including Bollywood glam doll Bipasha Basu.

Shortly after that, Rao said the developments would only help to get negative publicity, which would turn advantageous for him in the long run.
Singh suffered another blow with the court quashing his petition to stay proceedings against him in a money laundering case, but the astrologer said nothing serious is developing.

"The irony is that the money laundering bill was drafted by me and the people who want to punish me under this act don't know anything about it.

I have been saying that the case should be probed by the Enforcement Directorate. Now the court has said the same thing and I welcome the decision," Singh said.
He said he believes in Rao's astrological predictions and hoped these setbacks would turn advantageous for him.
Floating own party
Buoyed by the predictions, he has speeded up the process of forming his own political party Rashtriya Lok Manch aiming at the Uttar Pradesh assembly polls to be held next year.
"I met Chief Election Commissioner S Y Qureshi on Monday and hope the formalities will be complete in July so that the party can be launched thereafter," said Singh.
While he will be party president, his close associate and star-turned politician Jaya Prada will don the role of vice president.
Focusing on Eastern UP, he has already started groundwork in the Poorvanchal region. "Unequal development in the state will be the poll plank and I will even fight for separate statehood for Poorvanchal.
The division of the state between Poorvanchal, Paschimanchal and Bundelkhand would help in even development. We will also place these issues before the people," he said.
No friends with BJP
He hinted at a possible alliance with the Congress in UP for the next assembly polls when he said, "Friendship with BJP is ruled out in the first place. We are ready to join hands with anybody, other than Mayawati and Mulayam Singh."
On predictions about him coming to a prominent position in national politics, he said, "I welcome any situation as I am prepared to beat adversities and opportunities. I don't mind even if Rao's predictions go wrong."
What's in the rashee?
Rao, in his analysis of Singh's horoscope, read: Amar Singh is destined to play a pivotal role in the national politics after November this year.
Rahu (dragon head) would join Saturn at the 10th house of his horoscope on December 6, 2012, and the two planets would remain there for one and a half year.
This is the most striking feature in his horoscope and it is similar to that of Hitler. These two planets were together in the 10th house of Hitler's horoscope, when he ruled the roost in the last century.
