The results of the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) were declared late on Thursday evening with two candidates from Maharashtra etting into the top ten candidates' list.

Jivtesh Singh who appeared from Ludhiana tops the list with score of 300/400. Jivtesh took the examination as an SC candidate. the top ten list of candidates sees three names who appeared for the exams from Punjab.
A total of 75555 candidates registered for CMAT 2016 which saw an attendance of 86%. Candidates who scored in negative came down by 50% over last year.
The top 10 this year has 2 female candidates. Shreya Chakraborty, who appeared from Kolkata, topped in the female category. Her overall rank is fifth.
All sections saw an improvement in average score. While the top 10 SC candidates scored above 200, the top 10 ST candidates scored over 150.
