22-yr-old Iranian student deported

The anti-narcotic cell has deported a 22-year-old Iranian after his arrest for involvement in drug peddling in the Pune.

The accused was identified as Mohammad Mahmud Azarmehr, a resident of NIBM Road in Kondhwa. “Azarmehr was under our scanner for several days and his activities were suspicious from the point of view of the country’s security. We started keeping a watch and learnt he was involved in drug peddling in the city,” said Senior Police Inspector Sunil Tambe.u00a0
