Cops arrested a man on Monday for tearing up pages from the blueprint of India's democracy. Accused was unhappy with disruption of Parliament

In a bizarre incident, a man in his forties was booked and arrested for insulting the Constitution of India after he was found tearing its pages outside Parliament on Monday. According to police sources, the incident took place at about 2.30 pm when the both Houses were in session.

"A police patrolling car saw a man tearing pages of a book outside Parliament. When cops reached there they found him carrying a copy of the constitution and tearing its pages one by one," police sources stated.
When asked why he is doing this he angrily replied, "The Parliament anyways didn't sit this session. Then what is the use of the Constitution?"

Identified as Kunwar Kamal Bhai, the man was later booked by cops for insulting the constitution and arrested by the Parliament Street police station cops where a case was registered.

Sources said that Kamal is a resident of Puducherry and had come to Delhi to protest against the central government. "His family stays in Puducherry and he runs a shrine there," police sources said.u00a0u00a0u00a0

"When he was interrogated, he told the cops that he bought the copy of the constitution from a bookstore and he was doing this as he is not happy with the Indian government," sources said.

Additional Commissioner of Police, New Delhi district, Shankar Dash refused to comment on the matter.
Police sources said that cops are interrogating him to know his intentions.
Naked aggression

Recently, Ashok Kumar Sirohi, an ex-BSF constable alleged that he was ill-treated by his department and was expelled on medical grounds. Sirohi claims that he is fit and ready for his job. On October 28, he and his young kids marched naked through the Capital as a mark of protest. Ashok wanted to meet Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi but the cops detained him while he was walking nude on the Rajpath.
