Kadam thought he'll able to hoodwink the cops by switching off his cellphone and breaking all contact with his family. However, he was unable to dodge the cops for long. Kadam, after committing the crime, took up the job of a cleaner on a truck and travelled across India for the last two months.
But acting on a tip-off, a team of Crime Branch Zone IVu00a0 finally nabbed him from a roadside dhaba near Mohol.
PI Sunil Pawar said, "We were chasing the truck, which has heading towards Karnataka from Rudrapur in UP. When it halted at Mohol, we arrested him."
According to Pawar, soon after the arrest of his three accomplices Yogesh Raut, Mahesh Thakur, Raju Chaudhari on October 16, Kadam left the city and started working as cleaner on a container at Sai Shipping Company in UP .
