Heavy rains over the past two days have caused chaos in Mumbai, leading to severe waterlogging across many areas. Mumbai rains have caused issues for the daily commuters as they have been facing significant travel disruptions. The incessant monsoon showers have deeply impacted life in the city, and the situation is expected to worsen with the India Meteorological Department predicting heavy rainfall for the next 2-3 days. The IMD has issued a yellow alert for Mumbai, forecasting intense showers on Monday. Since Sunday morning, Mumbai and its suburbs have already received more than 100 mm of rainfall in just 12 hours till 8 PM on July 21.
