In a tragic incident in Malad East, two workers lost their lives and two others got injured after a portion of a building slab collapsed on 5th September, Thursday. The Malad building collapse happened around 12:10 pm. The construction was underway at the Navjeewan building in the Govind Nagar area. Emergency services quickly responded to the scene, and the injured workers were rushed to M W Desai Hospital. Sadly, doctors confirmed the deaths of two of the injured workers. The condition of the other two workers is still being monitored. The incident was reported to the BMC`s 1916 toll-free number.
