Nikhil Jogesh Das, Rakesh Ramjanam Sharma, Anthony Paul Thengal, Kalicharan Majilal Kanojiya, and Shan Ali Zakir Ali Siddiqui sustained varying percentages of burns, ranging from 25 to 40 percent.
Meanwhile, Samsher faced severe facial burns, Sangita sustained minor injuries, and Seeta declined hospitalisation.
Initially, the officials said that there were only five injuries, however, in a later update, they stated that the count has risen to eight.
Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials responded to the incident by dispatching firefighters and engines to the site.
Their prompt action aided in controlling the fire and the injured individuals were admitted to Bhabha Hospital in Bandra for treatment in time.
