Water from the track is pumped onto the road, resulting in waterlogging of the road at Marine Lines
BMC received a message about water being accumulated on the railway tracks between Churchgate and Marine Lines due to blockage in the rainwater channel
Due to heavy rains in south Mumbai, the small-sized rocks washed away with strong waves and got stuck in the rainwater outfall of Patanjain Marg. The BMC officials immediately coordinated with the railway administration and cleared the outfall culverts. BMC stated, "There is no truth in the allegations that there is water on the said tracks due to the construction of the Mumbai Coastal Road Project"
Water-logging was reported on the railway tracks between Churchgate-Marine Lines railway station. "Trains are running smoothly," informed Western Railway
