The railway police officials on Friday were conducting a special drive and checking passengers luggage ahead of Independence Day and the festive season
The railways also run many special trains to different parts of the country during the festive season. The checking will be conducted in long-distance trains too, sources added
Last year, the railway police had also launched a similar checking drive in Mumbai ahead of the festive season and the Independence Day, sources said
