Meanwhile, Thane was under a three-day heat wave warning last week that had began on Saturday
Recently, high temperatures were recorded mainly in western and central areas of the state, as per Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) data
The increase in the minimum temperature is serious as it means the nights are also warmer in these districts
